• Chronic Motor or Vocal Tic Disorder
• Sickle-cell Disease
• Tourette Syndrome

• Cancer (if the illness of its treatment produces severe/chronic pain, vomiting or nausea, severe wasting or cachexia)
• Severe and persevering muscle spasms, including those characteristics of multiple sclerosis (MS)

• Inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease
• Seizures, including those with similar characteristics as epilepsy
• A terminal illness, with a life expectancy of less than one year
